Phone update huh?
It appears as though there is a phone update in the works. Excellent, perhaps it addresses the annoyances caused by the 1X popup at the very least!

I have the anoying 1X popup so I wouldn't get your hopes up on that one. What's up with that?

Oh well...
I got my hopes up over nothing.. Since I'm satisfied with the other aspects of how the phone works, I won't be too concerned about the update unless I find it has something significant, like the GPS working.

Sorry, I don't have any further word at the moment, I've been too busy the last week and a half to even do much with my i700 than use it for what it's for. I will check on the staus in a couple weeks, as I'm headed away on Vacation starting Saturday.

My replacement too has s:i700.06.V.WE04.12199 the only difference that I noticed was the today screen item ERItoday now shows up and reads "Verizon Wireless".
