1x popup is back

Can I be the only one?

Since switching to 2003, when I use voice signal to connect to any number that old nemisis "1x verizon" pop up pops up. This doesn't happen when not using voice signal. I even tried installing SD's good ol' pop up killer but it didn't help. Any ideas?

Something must have tweaked the registry setting that killed the popup and that's why you're seeing it. What was the last thing you installed before you started seeing it?

I get only the 1X icon at the top but no pop up bubble must be a Reg Edit.

I think that 1x at the top is the culprit (for the i700 turning on by itself)...

I just need to catch it in the act...but it's sneaky.

Go to Settings/Sounds and Notifications/Notifications/Connection Established Uncheck Display message on screen. That should get rid of it. I haven't seen a popup yet.

Don't panic on that yet..VZW is refurbishing the towers and the Ev-DO is being turned on the entire I-5 corridor soon..The tower strength is being changed and the signal strength is what's making the i700 1x pop-up randomly..I have had the same problem for the past week..it will be rectified soon...
