Ok, my son sends me some pix from his phone. I get an SMS message telling me to go to

http://www.vzwpix.com/mlib/getpix/index.jsp

where I can log on and see them. Naturally, I try this from the i700 using the native MS IE.

However, no matter how hard I try, I cannot press the #$%*& red logon button. I tried the stylus, the arrow keys, the tab keys. What am I missing??

Sorry to tell you i700 can't do Picture Messaging...
You have to go to your regular PC..register for GetPix and then see the picture on the PC.....

I don't know if this will work for you, but it has worked for me when logging in to Verizon's site on the i700. Tap the red logon button 3 times....

and then say there's no place like home, there's no place like home


Seriously, three taps works for me. Worth a try? Do you have Thunderhawk? If you do, try accessing that way.

the link you are trying to access from your pocket pc is a .jsp website, which means there is embedded java. your IE on your phone is not capable of processing java. thats your problem. as for the guy who says to click it 3 times, i am assuming he is using a 3rd party browser.

Now..to bring it back to topic...I think a third-party browser might be the solution..try the TH as there is a trial period on it...see if it works and then if you like it keep it...if not..no harm done or money lost...here's a link to their download site..

Thanks for the information about the alternatives to IE. If I don't see PPC2003 out soon, I'll check them out.

Okay, I know I'm late to the party but just to keep the record straight, jsp is server-side java. It's generally used to generate dynamic content for the browser, but that content is usually HTML.

The only time the browser needs to process java is when there are embedded applets (e.g. Yahoo's GameChannel).

Most likely the problem with the red logon button is a JavaScript issue; there's browser-specific code on that page.
