Can I upgrade to WM5 ? ?

I will be receiving a i700 today from e-Bay. I don't know if it is WM2002, WM2003 or WM2003 CE yet. What should I do first and can I upgrade it to WM5? What software do you have and where is a good place for some (I know about softsonic.com)? This phone is for my girlfriend and we don't know if she will like it yet. I will just resell it if she doesn't. Thanks Everyone.

Please, can anyone help me? I do I figure out if it has WM2002, WM2003 or CE? I was setting everything up for my girlfriend on it yesterday and she likes it so far. She has never had a PDA or Smartphone and loves how she can organize everything. She enjoys doing all that sort of stuff. I found where the version is would this tell me what it is running? I will look at the version again later and put it in here. It's absolutely in BRAND NEW condition. No scuffs or scratches anywhere, not even on the screen.

I also got this phone recently. As far as I can tell it is running Pocket PC 2002. I also like this phone, now if I can only figure out how to get it to connect to my computer. Did your phone come with a disk to install on the PC? I am wondering if I need that.

I would seriously doubt that this would upgrade to WM5...but you could find someone who has cooked their own rom for this, but I doubt it. Your phone should have a phone icon in the settings menu that should tell you what version you are running... then you can check out the pda store here - there is a software thread in this forum or you can go to pocketgear.com
