How to find ESN on i700 without removing battery!!

Thanks to fixn278 our fellow i700 forum member for this neat little tid-bit!!!.
1.dial **772 on phone keypad>>>
2.screen will appear that asks for passcode>>>> enter>>> 000000 (six zeros)>>>>
3.then it will display your ESN number.
This saves you from removing the battery to check this, as the ESN is under the Battery on the case of i700!!!.
CAUTION!!!!!! DONOT CHANGE ANY SETTINGS AS THIS WILL RENDER THE PHONE SIDE USELESS and you have to send it in for re-programming.
This is ONLY to retreive the ESN, if you don't want to remove the battery!!.
