If you encounter that dreaded screen that says>>> cannot set up partnership as the name is already in use!!!.
FIX:
1: On your PC go to C:\Documents and Settings\(your name)
\Application\Microsoft\Activesync\Profiles
2: delete all device(partnership) names you had previously given.
3: close window
4: Restart PC
5: Attach i700 on to cradle and now use the device id name on unit, and AS will work.
THIS process of deleting ALL previous device id's you had given is applicable ONLY if you have done a HARD RESET.
You can also use this process if you want to sync with TWO or more PC's and combine the information between all PC's and the PDA. BUT, DONOT REMOVE THE EXISTING ID GIVEN IN PDA as this is what YOU NEED TO KEEP.
C is the HD (or any other letter your PC has assigned) where you originally installed AS.
