Blackjack outgoing bluetooth voice quality

One of the biggest problems I'm facing with my Blackjack is the outgoing voice quality while using a Bluetooth headset. Here's the story:

I'm on a cell phone with clients for about two hours per day. My old cheap Nokia had excellent incoming and outgoing voice quality with my wired Plantronics headset. Many of my clients said I sounded like I was on a land-line.

After purchasing the Blackjack, I quickly discovered I could not use the ear-bud style wired headset because the ear-bud constantly fell out of my ear. So I purchased a Motorola Bluetooth headset.

I initially thought the headset was ok because I could hear everyone just fine. But my clients told me my voice quality was horrible and sounded "computerized" and in an "echo chamber." So I purchased a better Plantronics Bluetooth headset. Unfortunately, the new headset did not improve the outgoing voice quality.

(By the way, the outgoing voice quality with these two Bluetooth headsets was completely acceptable when used with other, non-PDA, Cingular phones.)

Extremely frustrated, I decided to purchase the best Bluetooth headsets I could find: The Jabra JX10 and the Plantronics Discovery 665. My client's said I sounded a little better, but still very poor. Some said they could barely understand what I was saying.

Anyone else have this problem? Any recommendations for improving the outgoing voice quality?

I have used the Jabra JX10, the Jabra BT800, the Jawbone and also my Pioneer DEH-P980BT Bluetooth stereo with my Blackjack. The JX10 and the Jawbone were almost identical in quality and were the best during my tests, the Pioneer was next best even though it uses a wired ambient microphone. Because of the noice cancellation, the outgoing voice can sometimes seem "robotic" with the JX10, so much depends on what background noise there is at the time of the call and how quickly the noise filters react to noises introduced during a call.
