Calendar Reminder snooze function working intermittently

I seem to be the only one having problems with the snooze function of the Calendar reminders. I've checked Google, this forum, and other forums and don't seem to find anyone else having these issues. The problem is, I have reminders set for many of my calendar appointments - usually set 10 min prior to event. The reminder goes off like it should. When I try to snooze the alarm for 5 min or until 5 min before the appt starts, it seems to work very intermittently. Sometimes the reminder goes off, other times nothing happens. It also seems like the closer is gets to the appt, the more erratic it is. Does anyone know if this is a known issue with WM5 or if there is a fix for this?

Also, it would be really nice to have the option to snooze a reminder until 1 min before the event. That way, it goes off say 10 min before a conference call to remind you of the call - then you can snooze until 1 min before so you remember to actually call in. This is a big problem for me so I'd appreciate any help.

Similar issue

I'm getting a similar issue, but instead of having problems with it reminding me, my Blackjack won't stop.

It continously reminds me of upcoming appointments, sometimes weeks in the future, even though I have the phone set to "No Reminders" and my Outlook settings simply set to "15 minutes" prior to meeting or events.

I've also noticed another strange oddity. Sometimes, usually late in the afternoons, any email sent from my Blackjack will report that I'm sending it from a date in October 2007, well in the future. This goes away within minutes of course so it's difficult to track down.

We're using ActiveSync over wireless (not via USB) and our Admin claims it's not anything to do with the server, but I'm starting to doubt him...

Possible solution?

So I don't think this is related to the phone or the Windows Mobile at all. I think it has to do with the carrier or at least the new 3G service. Check out this thread I found here - http://www.howardforums.com/archive/...1118952-1.html

I made the changes to my cell and so far, it's working.
