Streaming Snapstream to a Blackjack Smartphone
Streaming Snapstream to a Blackjack Smartphone
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have setup my recordings on my snapstream machine to be converted to WMV and put into a new folder on my server. I have confirmed that I can get to the Web Admin from the internet outside my network using a laptop and can stream the WMV files. When I connect to the web admin via my Windows Mobile 5 smartphone (Samsung Blackjack) it gets there just fine. I scroll down and select play on one of the recordings and it launches Windows media player with a url like this mmst://server:1755/c:\mobilevideo\showname.wmv
Again this works fine via a PC outside the network. After a couple of seconds the blackjack reports:
Cannot find the file. The file might have been moved, renamed or deleted. If the file is stored on a server or a removable storage card, the server or card might not be available.
Any ideas? I have ports 80, 8080, 8129-8135 and 1755 open. I even tried opening it up on the DMZ but as I said I don't think its a firewall issue since it works from other computers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Jim
