You can also just save to the root directory of the SD card without having any extra folders involved and this will work as well (none of these 2 alternatives were available when I found my convoluted work around).

I have a question about using the Storage card on the BlackJack. I have all my syncronization working very well but the only thing that isn't working as I would like for it to is syncing through Bluetooth with Media Player 11 to the storage card. I can sync to it just fine (the card that is) when connected via USB but WMP11 doesn't see it at all through Bluetooth. Is this common or did I miss something. And if so has anyone found a way around it yet. It seems like I found a setting or some information once upon a time which alluded to setting the phone up so that anything that went to the phone would automatically go to the storage card, but I don't remember for sure.

So anyone tips here would be appreciated. Thanks!

How to WMDC (Vista ActiveSync) using Toshiba Bluetooth stack

I have a Sony laptop with the Toshiba Bluetooth stack and I could not get the Blackjack to WMDC (Vista Activesync) to work over Bluetooth. Here’s how to setup it up.

1. Delete any prior Bluetooth partnerships from the Blackjack.
2. Hard reset the Blackjack.
3. Go to the “Bluetooth Local COM” Applet in your Control Panel.
4.Open “Bluetooth Local COM” applet where you will see a list of Ports.
5. The Corerct port you need to use is “COM7 Toshiba BT Port (COM7) LocalCOM-Server[SerialPort(TOSHIBA LocalCOM)] and not “COM6 Toshiba BT Port (COM6) LocalCOM-Client”.
6. If you don’t see a Server COM port, go ahead and create a “Bluetooth virtual COM port for a Server”
7. Go to Bluetooth Settings—>Options—>General—>Select “PAN Networking service”
8. Go to WMDC –> Connection settings and Enable “Allows connections on one of the following: COM7”

Once you’e done all this, initiate Activesync via Bluetooth on your Windows Mobile 5 device and WMDC on the desktop should be able to recognize the mobile device and setup a partnership.

Ok the issue I am having is that if I am viewing a forum(i havent tried it in any other scenario) it wont show all of the pictures if there are a lot of them. I have done the registry edit to put all temp files and such in the storage card so it isnt an issue of space. Any ideas?

Im using a i607 Blackjack with windows mobile 6.0 btw.

Edit: Now not only is it not displaying all images, if there is an excess of images it just closes down internet explorer. Not sure whats going on here.

Quick Unlock for Blackjack

Locking the keys by holding down the red phone key requires you to press the power button, Unlock softkey and "*" key to unlock. You can go to Settings/Security/Device Lock to set a PIN to unlock the keys. Once you do that you can press the left softkey to bring up the PIN dialog without pressing the power button. You can also set a timer to turn on the lock after a selected period of inactivity.
