Thumbs up New BlackBerry Sub Forums

Hello everyone and welcome to the new BlackBerry (RIM) section. I'm new to the BlackBerry side having been a previous Palm OS and mostly WinMobile OS user for nearly 13 years. So my goal is simple and your help is appreciated.

Please use the new Sub Forums as noted we have 81xx (Pearl), 83xx (Curve) and 88xx for device related help.

Thanks PPCMD - Moderator BlackBerry & WinMobile

Just a quick update. I have put together a comparison chart on the various 81xx, 83xx and 88xx phones and will post that along with the start to a new FAQ section.

Hi All!!I am new to the forum and I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about the new VZW BB 8330? I have the 8703e now and I heard that this new one has a bunch of new features already installed on it.

Send a message via ICQ to dangerous

Michael, I purchased the 8330 Curve for my dad's birthday, installed BB Professional Server (i'll call it BPS) (its the light version of BB Enterprise Server -BES). They gave me one license free.

Took me forever to install on my Exchange server, but got it working. Now, prior to the BPS I was using BB Internet Service, BIS, and no, there weren't that many apps on the unit, but once the BPS was up and running, more attachements were able to be viewed, and it did a lot more stuff.

so, if you have BES, it should be better. then again, i'm an I760 user thinking of getting a BB.
