Has anyone had experiance using a Blackberry device to check GroupWise email? I have read about some 3rd party server apps that you can install to make this happen but was wondering if there was another way around this without having to install special software on the server side. I have one Blackberry user at my company and am trying to find a solution for him. We use GroupWise 6.5

I found out that it is possible to add a GroupWise account to the device. When you go to add an email account through the web site you must provide the external IMAP port and not the internal port eg 143. This was the mistake I made. If you add the account and don't see any messages show up, be patient. Apparently it doesn't poll for message but about ever 5 minutes.
