Recently purchased Blackberry 7280 and would like to save all my phone call logs to a file so I can parse and manipulate to generate a report. I would like to have the logs on my laptop to reconcile with my phone bill, for instance. I would like to be able to select "all phone calls (incoming and outgoing) during Feb 2004".

Has anyone done this or know how?

follow-up: Does anyone know the format of the phone log backup file? I noticed that I could backup the phone log and I could potentially parse that with perl or something.

I'm not aware of anyone doing that yet; I don't think you can get at the phone logs in the backup - at least I haven't heard of it!

The phone logs are backed up. If you look at a backup file from the desktop program, you can see an entry for phone logs with a number of entries, you just can't look at them. I've searched all over and don't know how to read the backup file to extract the information.
