T-Mobile Network Reliability in California?

I purchased a T-Mo 7230 and have been using it for about a week.

So far, so good--when I want to send/receive e-mail or browse, I can.

This experience is much different that I had over the past year with T-Mo GPRS on my PPC. I seemed that outages and other problems occurred weekly.

Californians: How has your experience been with this device? How often are you not able to send/receive e-mail and browse, percentage wise?

Thanks.

So are you saying that the coverage with T-Mobile is better with the 7230 than you had with the PPCPE? I'm thinking of making the move myself. I assume you've setup BES on your own server... correct?

Coverage seems about the same, but connections are much more reliable. It must have something to do with the way the Blackberry connects to the GPRS network. I know that the PPC uses TCP/IP and the Blackberry does not (except for those on the Nextel network, I hear). Perhaps T-Mo has problems with its Access Points or DNS, I don't know. All I know is that GPRS on the PPC was really bad for me, and it is really good on the BB.
