Output connection
I am trying to connect my Blackberry (Nextel) 6510 to my car’s (SAAB 93) integral (through the car radio) hands free system. I figure the only way to do this is use the 2.5mm output for the earbud (take an ear bud and cut the jack off) and connect it to the car phone adapter harness I have for my car. Does anyone know enough about electronics to tell me which wires to connect on the harness to the correct wires on the earbud jack
I have the following connections (pins) available on the car adapter harness: 1) 12V (+30) power supply, 2) 12V (+15) key-controlled voltage, 3) Microphone ground, 4) Ground, 5) Telephone Mute, 6) Rheostat, 7) Telephone line out signal, Telephone line out ground, 9) Microphone level output
All I really want is to make the right microphone and speaker pair, but I don't understand the nomenclature. Thanks.
