Seidio is known for providing excellent accessory products for handhelds. The Super Slim Crystal Case adds a layer of protection without taking any operating functions away. The case comes in two parts - one cover for the front and one cover for the back of the Q. The Super Slim Crystal Case adds about 1/8th of an inch to the overall thickness of the Q, but the crystal clear design allows total visibility and all of the holes and access cutouts are perfectly formed to meet the daily use of the Q. Additionally, Seidio offers the Spring Clip Swivel Holster for Skinned Cases that allows users to use their fully protected Q in a much better holster than the one that the Q has in the box.

Some quick observations:

• Slightly thicker - may not work in pouches or form-fit cases
• Does not work in cradle
• No instruction for installation
• Clips attaching front and back sections may become disengaged during use
• Holster is too big for use without skin case
• Must remove skin to change battery
• Will not work with extended battery

Although it may look like the cons outweigh the pros, the case holds up well during use and the belt clip is a great matching accessory for users who like to keep the Q at their side, ready for action.

I give the Seidio Super Slim Crystal Case for the Q (and the matching Spring Clip Swivel Holster) a 7.5 out of 10, a rating of Good.
