I know it has not been quite a month yet, but what are your thoughts of the vx6800 so far? I am torn between the i760 and 6800 and and curious which one you like "better".

Without the tactical dial pad, is it tough to dial the 6800 while driving (or does the voice dialing work well)? I figured the dial pad would also be nice to respond to quick text messages without having to open the slider.

As far as stability, both system and physicial, does one seem better than the other?

Call quality - CNET's review said the i760 was better. Has that been your expereince or is there an un-noticable difference?

Any other words of wisdom that may help in the decision process??

Thanks!

I still love my XV6800 and have no regrets about purchasing it over the i760. Honestly, dialing for me has not been an issue with the on-screen keypad, and Microsoft Voice Command works like a charm.

I am STOKED with my XV6800! There's no way in hell I'd swap it for any other phone currently made. I have compared/used several others and for me, this is the tops!

i currently have a PPC6800AL2 from Alltel wireless im the oddball here with alltel when everyone else using normal carriers. i am a rep for alltel and thus i dont pay from my phone. i love the 6800 alot more then the 6700. the bluetooth is kinda ****ty, i cant find a flashplayer to stream videos on WM 6.0 to save my life. and the F*%#ing thing has to be soft rest every 8 hours. but other then that its smooth. i have the homepluggin for the HTC Touch on it. and some little odd and ends. but over all very nice

New minor, but annoying problem. Can anyone help?

When a new email arrives, I have my Settings/Notifications set to flash the light for "no limit" in order to alert me. Unfortunately, the amber light flashes for only a minute or two, then goes back to flashing green. A minute or two isn't even an option.

My missed calls and voicemails are also configured to flash the light for no limit, and that works OK. Just the email light alert is giving me trouble.

Thank you.

Edited to add: I just changed the alert function to 60 mins., the max, yet it still just flashes for a minute or two.
