I do not think he made a clear statement, Calls WILL come thur while watching your SlingBox it will ring letting you know someone is calling you, you just cant talk and watch the SlingBox at the same time. When you answer the call it will halt the Sling connection no worries just reconnect when finished with the call.

The Woot classic is a very good deal - I've had my classic since they first came out - it's still working great! - sheureka

My bargain sense is tingling...

LOL, I just got one there today. My sister checks woot daily and emailed me about this. I have posted several times in this thread as I was interested in getting one. I called Slingbox CS to talk to them to make sure as to which one was best for my needs and the Classic was the way to go! I know it is not currently being sold in stores and I looked all over the net and could not find out about what they usually go for so I have no idea as to what kind of deal I got.

As I wrote last night I got one of these yesterday and had a quick question I hope someone can answer for me. A lot of times when I am working on my laptop I pull WMP up and I shrink it down to where it only takes up about a quarter of the screen and put it up in the top right corner and set it to always be on top so I can watch movies while I work.

With the software by slingbox for laptops and such does it have capabilities like that where I can have it just take up a portion of the screen and set it to remain atop all applications?

Slingbox

Just wanted an opinion of anyone out there that's had any experience with the Slingbox products. Would like your reviews on the hardware that you install at home, along with the laptop software, and of course, the WM software that has to be purchased separately.

Any opinions and/or advise would be most welcome!

Thanks in advance!!!
