I have Slide2Unlock installed, and it works great. I have noticed though if this new dialer is open, and I turn the device off, the Slide2Unlock doesn't activate when the device is turned back on.

has anyone noticed that their sprint data connection doesn't turn off? I had to disconnect mine manually. After the theme install i notice my phone was warm, looked down and notice battery life was going away. I thought for sure it was push mail was on. i checked and i was connected with SPRINT VISION. i'll try again tomorrow to see if problem continues. The dialer is working flawlessly.

Thanks,
Sid

vision stays connected unless you manually disconnect it

it shouldnt be killing your battery unless u have an app using it. the data connection goes from active (white arrows) to dormant (grey arrows). its not the dialer doing this you must have something else on your phone causing it.

i believe this is a function of slide2unlock. i believe the author, A_C, of slide2unlock did this on purpose. Search for the xda post on slide2unlock. Or uninstall this and see if it persists.

found this registry hack that displays your last calls without hitting the call history button and the list is not redundant. I believe you mentioned this in the old vision arrows thread, Paul.

HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin
Change the value of Enabled to 0
Soft Reset

Stumbled across this dialer...VERY practical - PPCGeeks

But, this will disable your dialer and bring back the old dialer. Anyway around this Paul and have this function coexist on your dialer?

Am i the only one seeing this, or am i just ignorant about registry modifcation in hex?

tries to install that theme posted in page one. it shows up on the list of themes but when i select it, nothing changed. funny thing is now, if I change to any theme, nothing happens except maybe the color of the highlighted item changes but nothing else, even sprint default doesn't work anymore. i am stuck with windows default theme.

don't know what did that.

can you change your keypad digits color to hex 99FFFF and see if you get yellow or aqua?

I searched through the registry for "MajorColor", but came up empty. Any advice? Absolutely love the skin Paul!

exactly. if you look at the chart linked above, you will see that 99FFFF should be for aqua. But using 99FFFF is the equivalent of FFFF99 on the chart (move the first two hex digits last), which is the pale yellow color.

There's nothing wrong with the chart, it's the same chart posted in many sites.

dial button digit color:
HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin\Dialer\Portrait\dialbutton\MajorColor

dial button alphabet color:
HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin\Dialer\Portrait\dialbutton\MinorColor

In Call (Progress) page text color:
HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin\Progress\Portrait\VerbButton\textColor

In call (Progress) page text size:
HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin\Progress\Portrait\VerbButton\textRCMLStyle

background, button graphics, etc. located in \Phoneskin in the root directory of device
that's what i know so far, until Paul can get us the rest of the registry cheat sheet. Patience.

this has happened to me twice in the last month. it has nothing to do with this new dialer since it happened to me well before this was released...

i also currently do not have this new dialer installed. i am using the OEM dialer.

I'm using it with SPB shell, or I was. It would receive calls, but only parts of the screen would show up, I couldn't get to the dialer itself in any way and then later that night the phone froze up and I had to hard reset.

Well atleast that convinced me to finally pay for a safe mode program. I'm still debating whether I like shell enough to pay for it, I guess I get more time since the counter resets after a hard reset.

Outstanding work!! This looks so much better than the default dialer. Here are some screenshots of mine.

Paul is there any way that the dialer can switch to the in-call screen (where you can turn on speakerphone, etc...) automatically when a call is dialed?
