It is adjusting. If your using the "fine" one it's VERY small adjustments. Some people like the coarse one better (which is still finer than the original). You will hear a difference if you listen closely.
I'll upload a coarse one with the extended speakerphone.
I used AudioPara.csv_coarse_ear_extended_speaker.txt with no volume control on the ear speaker, now I'm using AudioPara.csv_fine_ear_extended_speaker.txt
I do have volume control but is not as loud as coarse one.
I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment. I want to maximize the volume of the speaker phone and ear piece to the point where any further would make it unusable!
Quick question: does this increase the volume of the ringer too? or just in conversation?

thanks!
Sure you don't have that backwards?
The fine one will have very little RANGE on volume control.
The coard one will have a wider range.
The Max volume is the same on both.
If your bootup setting in the registry is not set to MAX then you will notice the coarse boots up with a lower volume because it's a larger step(s) down from the max. The default is VOL4 (one notch down).
I was running the fine one (which I really like in practice it's doing just what I hoped) and I just downloaded coarse one to verify it's ok and seems fine.
For reference the fine one runs about from 1/2 step below to 1.5 steps above (on the original sprint scale) the max volume of original sprint one spread over 6 steps.

There are tons of settings in that file. Could be. There is Ringer in headset volume. But have not seen the ringer volume. I find mine so loud that if rings in my hand unexpectedly I almost droip it. Running stock ringer.
Steps I did.
#1 downloaded the fine w/ earpiece.
#2 opened it in excel to convert to csv.
#3 copied to storage card via active sync
#4 copied via total commander from storage card to windows file.
#5 soft reboot
#6 Help!!!
I have attached an AudioPara.csv. To install rename the one you have in your Windows directory to AudioPara.csv_orig (Note built in File Explorer does not show extensions). And copy the attached one over. Or edit your file to your own taste. Oh and remove the .Txt extension required for upload.
Open Excel
Click File Open
Click the dropdown for Files of type and choose All Files
Browse to the txt document and Open it up
Click File, Save As and choose CSV and then save
The files attached in post 1 are already csv files (just remove anything after .csv)

You shouldn't edit the file at ALL in excel. You can use it to look. Should be no conversions needed. You'll mess the file up unless you know exactly what your doing.
Down load the file strip off the extention and copy it to your phone.
#1 Downloaded the new file ( coarse file for me)
#2 transferred file to starage card via active sync
#3 changed name of file while on storage card.
#4 used Total Commander & moved file from storage card to windows file.
#5 Soft Reset.
I agree. This was sore spot for the 6700 and finally we have a fix for the Mogul. If we can find a way around the memory leak issue and make a the unit a wee bit snappier, I'll be content.....
....for now.

Thanks for your hard work. I just installed it, I'm in a quiet setting so I'm not sure if it made a difference yet though. Seems plenty loud right now.
Thanks for the file, it made the phone audio much improved.
Is there a setting to change sound volume for programs like MobiTv or would that level be specified by the program itself?

Seems to work just fine now.
thanks MS for this file
did you not rename the original audiopara file? total commander and active sync won't allow me to add "_orig" to the original file so that i can use the new audiopara file.
...or does this meathod simply overwrite the old file with the new one (which is fine by me)?
