In a previous post, I stated that it worked GREAT on my 6700 the FIRST time I installed it! That was true! However, I dropped my 6700 and the radio part quit working. I called Verizon and they contacted Assurian (insurance company) and sent me a brand new 6700. It got here and I installed the SAME cab files that are on the other 6700, BUT, it doesn't work on the NEW 6700!!!!
What gives????

At what point are you breaking down? I've had glitches in several areas, and FWIW, this is how I fixed them. (I'm not a tech expert, so these are pretty much my dumb luck fixes.):
-- If the main YouTube page won't open -- go directly to a page inside YouTube (such as your own account or a favorite site) instead. Those seem to load fine, even though main YouTube doesn't.
-- If YouTube takes you to the "you must have FlashPlayer installed" message, try re-downloading the FlashVideo Bundle newest version again, install it, and soft-reset.
-- If clicking on the video in PIE fails to launch TCPMP -- close PIE, open TCPMP manually, surf back to PIE without exiting TCPMP, try to run the video again. That seemed to fix the association between PIE and TCPMP, although I've had to open that way again once or twice.
-- If TCPMP opens but doesn't start playing -- make sure the FlashVideo bundle is in the same location as the TCPMP player. (FWIW, it seems to work better for me when I install both TCPMP and FV to a storage card than to main programs. Don't know or understand why, but that's my experience.)
Anyway, I know that's not very definitive advice, but it's what has worked for me at various points. Hope it helps you!
hi! hey man thanks for the tip but u know what Im having problems with mine I have the same phone as u and well I haven't been able to get it to work could u be a little more specific on the instructions? I don't wanna bug u but if u could I would really appreciate it thanks!
For all you Tube-aholics, this is it! You now have direct, unfettered access to Youtube, Google Video & Veoh, in all their glory. Install the CABs listed below, go directly to these websites, and click on a video to play. That's it
If you follow the instructions exactly and use the preconfigured TCPMP settings, you should be able to play videos smoothly if your network connection is adequate.
Installation instructions:
1) If you already have a version of TCPMP installed, uninstall it now.
2) Install tcpmp.pocketpc.0.72RC1.cab: http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/t...pc.0.72RC1.cab
3) Install FlashVideoBundle.CAB attached below (this MUST be installed in the same location as TCPMP).. it is in a zip file so unzip first then copy the cab over.
4) Soft-reset
youtube.com/?nomobile=1 keeps freezing up my phone, to the extent that i have to reboot it, the memory manager cant even 'endtask' it
I had the same thing happen a few times. I found that I couldn't open the main YouTube page with its normal URL or with the "nomobile" tag.
But, I found that I can open the URL of any other YouTube page -- my own account page or the Main Pages for some videos I like -- with no problem. As long as you stay off the main YouTube homepage, you should be OK.
Still no love here. I can't get it to work on my device any longer. Used to, but now won't.

Now, I am experiencing the lip sync problem BAD though... The next big hurdle! But hey, it's progress!

For everyone having lip Syncing, lip Flapping issues (audio and video out of sync:
This has worked for me:
In TCPMP:
Options > Settings > Select Page > Advanced
Change "Manual A/V offset +/- to -400
That seems to be perfect.
Now my problem is that youtube doesn't work with this.
I have the newest Rom update from HTC,
When I click a youtube video from youttube.com it freezes for a few seconds, up to about 20 seconds, and then i have control of PIE again.
Google Videos works perfectly though, and i have access too all youtube vids from there just fine.
I want to add that on wi-fi it works most of the time, on EV-DO it has the freezing issue.
And, THIS fixed my Lip Sync issue!
Thanks Guys!

Reason: t
scroll down and click classic view and it will open up in classic mode from then on...
i just DL'ed this new flash and now you tube hangs on the front page in classic view...
never had this issue before. this time around i only uninstalled the flash bundle and left tcpmp intact. last time i uninstalled both and had no issues. perhaps this time i need to do that again...
aight just to anyone whos listening.. i cleared cookies/cache and all was well. i had lip sync issues but the above adjustments seem to have corrected it.
now, id like to up the buffer amount.. anyone played with that setting?
i followed the original instructions on my Q. google would work but not youtube. i noticed the note on the upgraded flash so i uninstalled it and installed the new version and now everything is working. just a note - i have the latest ROM on my Q...
Well I have had all sorts of issues.. so someone please guide me...
- If I have the macromedia flash plugin installed, I can't access the Main Page youtube without freezing. If I uninstall it, works and I can search. Do I NEED the Main Page to be up?
- Once I found the video I want to see, I click on it and it seems nothing happens. Based on hints I need to have the TCPMP thing running... no luck nothing.
- The other hint I git is to have it TCPMP nad flashvideobundle installed in the same location. Does that mean when installing it select storage card for both? Or does it mean put the CAB in the program file and install it?
- Are there options in the TCPMP that I need to make sure are set?
I had alot of the same problems that people have posted on this thread. Specifically my PIE would stall after clicking on one of the vids.
Installing Flashplayer 1.4 really helped. So much kudos to whoever posted that fix.
Now it runs without a hitch. I dont even have to have TCPMP open or anything. I click on a video and it asks me if I want to play or save the video. I'm really impressed so far!

Thanks for you help...
This is a problem with the "Macromedia Flash 7 Active-X" plugin that causes the Main Page of Youtube to hang. It happens even if the FlashVideoBundle is not installed. I would simply remove that plugin unless you absolutely need it (chances are you don't).
Yes, you can install both cabs to Storage Card (or Device) as long as you are consistent with both.
On a Mogul, you may need to choose GDI for your video driver and then "-400msec" under Options -> Settings -> Advanced -> Manual A/V offset to keep the audio in sync. Other than that, the settings should work fine.
