Tip#1
For all of those with choppy video do the following

Options>Video>Video Driver: GDI

Another Important Tip
#2

Options>Settings>Select Page>Player

Select (Check) Either
Play at Open in Fullscreen
or
Play at Open

Both will make the video auto start.

Lip Syncing fix.

For everyone having lip Syncing, lip Flapping issues (audio and video out of sync:
This has worked for me:
In TCPMP:
Options > Settings > Select Page > Advanced
Change "Manual A/V offset +/- to -400

That seems to be perfect.

Now my problem is that youtube doesn't work with this.
I have the newest Rom update from HTC,
When I click a youtube video from youttube.com it freezes for a few seconds, up to about 20 seconds, and then i have control of PIE again.
Google Videos works perfectly though, and i have access too all youtube vids from there just fine.

I want to add that on wi-fi it works most of the time, on EV-DO it has the freezing issue.

After a few reboots, seems to work well with settings described above. Google page does not render well in IE, but most links work with EVDO at 600k.

The specific problem I am having is that trying to watch videos directly from youtube.com (non mobile, regular version) will rarely work over EVDO for me.
Regardless of the speed I get.
Google Videos works fine though, even when linking to Youtube videos.

Using Wi-Fi I have no problems.

Occasionally EVDO youtube.com (again the non mobile version) will work.

When it doesn't work, Pocket Internet Explorer freezes for anywhere form 10 seconds to about 20 seconds, sometimes a bit longer.

I can't get it to work at all in either YouTube or Google Video. When I click a link to a video, PIE locks up, as others have said. After about 20 seconds, it unfreezes, but the video does not play.

The setting changes noted on this page fixed this for me.

over evdo... bottom line is some vids (both google and youtube) work and some don't... anyone that is saying they are getting all vids to work did u make any changes to ur settings other that what's already been posted? Because that's about all it could be. Too many ppl here all saying the same thing that it doesn't work on a good portion of the vids.

well i have only tried it on a handful of videos and they have all played for me. i did see the lip flap issue but it was not noticeable on some. i applied the user settings above but have not tried it yet on videos, but each video i have played worked fine and played.

OK, I tried it on wi-fi, and videos play fine. But on EV-DO, all I get is lock-up.

I think the smoothest video is with raw frame buffer instead of GDI.
anyone agree or disagree with this?
