I can not get this to play I installed tcpmp then I install FlashVideoBundle with Cabinstl and put that in the same folder as tcpmp (Program Files) soft reset went on youtube play a video windows media popped up with a error 'An Unkown error oX8007274D has occurred.' Any ideas
don't bother. youtube has recently put all of their videos on the mobile site, just get HTC video streamer (google search it) and go to the youtube mobile site. very easy.
I wasn't able to get the Flash/TCMP solution to work or the HTC streaming solution to work or m.yahoo or ytpocket to work. I've failed horribly and am now shunned by the community!

This is all we need? We don't need these 2 other files posted on the forum here?
I followed the directions. I get YouTube fine, but when I try to watch a video Windows Media player comes up with error message. What did I or am I doing wrong? HELP! THANKS.
You don't use Windows Media to view them, nor do you visit the native/desktop Youtube page. You use the TCPMP player with the flashbundle installed, and you route through the PocketYoutube site (YouTube Pocket).
The directions for all of this are spelled out clearly in the YTpocket "Install" page, found here: YouTube Pocket . Follow the directions - it's all very easy.
BY the way, for all of you XV6600 holdouts, like me: this solution also works for your device. Yes, the 6600 has full YouTube access, and here's the best part - you can even download right to your device. Good, good times! Now I can cattch up on all of those MST3K episodes I've missed!!

For all you Tube-aholics, this is it! You now have direct, unfettered access to Youtube, Google Video & Veoh, in all their glory. Install the CABs listed below, go directly to these websites, and click on a video to play. That's it
If you follow the instructions exactly and use the preconfigured TCPMP settings, you should be able to play videos smoothly if your network connection is adequate.
Installation instructions:
1) If you already have a version of TCPMP installed, uninstall it now.
2) Install tcpmp.pocketpc.0.72RC1.cab: http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/t...pc.0.72RC1.cab
3) Install FlashVideoBundle.CAB attached below (this MUST be installed in the same location as TCPMP).. it is in a zip file so unzip first then copy the cab over.
4) Soft-reset
Caveats:
Requires pocket IE. This plugin will not work with Opera, NetFront, Picsel, etc. However, it is compatible with PiePlus.
In great need of help...can't play youtube videos on xv6800. Spent 2hours searching forums for clues. Tried the above, but nothing happened. I get the same error message from Windows Media Player "unknown error" 0X8007274D"
Nobody at Verizon could help, not at the store or on the phone. What's the deal? Any help please
After hours trying to get you tube vids to play on my XV 6800, I finally figured out why I was constantly getting Windows Media coming up to play the vids (along with the error message) and not the TCMP player I installed with the help of the directions at
hey guys im still having trouble, complete noob.
i installed all the flash bundle and the other file onto the temps, is that where im supposed to put the files? or somewhere else?
i screen that pops up saying unknown error 0x8007274d has occurred. please help
thanks
Sweet, the HTC Streaming Video app worked for me first time! I never got the other versions to work, and just one app to install with this one, and it works seamlessly with PIE and Opera!! Find it here All Extracted HTC Apps (cab & oem included) - xda-developers
No flash bundle, no setting file types, just mobile optimized youtube in your pocket with minimum fuss. The quality is fine and there is less wait for all the ads and extra flash stuff to load which is just more clutter on a small screen anyway.
