never say never, but i doubt it. If the mogul does have gps it will be a-gps, which will require use of telenav aka giving more money to sprint
...I tried telenav with my external GPS receiver and was quite unimpressed with a service that charges $10.00 per month. I believe you wouldbe happier with an external GPS receiver and a different service or software.
GPS being unlocked with new update? Anyone know anything about this??? Are we getting rev-a and if so should I hold out buying an GPS receiver??
The place he got his info from is January !!!
Personally unless your going geocaching, I prefer the GPS be outside of the phone. Why make it heavier and use more battery by building it in. The only time I use GPS is in the car. My GPS is no bigger than the Cigarette lighter adapter that it plugs into. Why Jam it into the phone. Something else will have to go. It's like putting DVD player into a TV.
People are way too hung up on GPS receiver being in the phone. When very nice BT receivers exist today that they can use and work great. You need the car attached anyway, what's 4 more ounces.
I have the Holux 236 and it wroks great. How is the 240? I assume it is newer.
Hello Jerry,
I love the 240. Locks on quick, keeps locked well, good battery life, and very very small...It is touted as the smallest bluetooth GPS receiver on the market.
Check out that ebay seller.. Cheap 2gig microSD cards with flash readers..
very wrong thread...
