Should I uninstall the 5 button plugin in first before installing the 6 button?
I would suggest that you unistall the old version first (it's what I did).

Nice, no Vibrate on Reminders - now how do we get color?!
so you WERE getting the vibrate bug with the 5 tab version and you aren't with the 6 tab? That is what I am hoping as I am running the 3 tab again now myself.
i can say 100% that, at least in my case, the 6 tab one changes to vibrate when an appointment occurs not even a notification. The 5 tab fixed one didnt do this nor did the 3 tab. BUT the 5 AND 6 tab exhibit the behavior below...
be VERY careful. if you use memaid youll see the bug- look in notifications youll have about 50-100 duplicates which is hogging up memory. this is due to the "fix" to keep the phone from switching into vibrate with appointments.
How the "Fix" works is when theres a notification or appointment, it adds an entry to make it think theres no appointment, therefore causing doubles of everything, and then sucking memory space which you can clear with memmaid but thats a pain just for a profiles tab.
even if you arent getting the bug, like i wasnt in the 5 tab, its adding enteries and duplicates hogging memory.
i think im staying with the 3 tab for now until/if all these issues are worked out.

Does anyone know why when I select "Launch Music Player" from the Music tab, why Windows Media Player is opening up instead of the Audio Manager?
**EDIT** Well, nevermind. I uninstalled the HTC Home cab, then reinstalled it and it appears to launch the Audio Manager now, but I've lost the "Contacts" tab, .......hmmmm

this program in and of itself is a hack for this phone. its not designed for the 68. however its not difficult to install and will work out of the box but you wont have local weather unless you modify the weather file in the program as discussed in this thread.

you go to start/settings/today/items then check the plugin, it should be htc home i think then it will appear on the screen. to get the weather to work for your area, just follow stroths beautifully scripted instructions at the tip top of the thread...

and being not overly bright, I was trying this out on a i730 (just in case, like I said, not too bright). Does this not work on WM5? i tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling the link above, it says it installs, but I don't see it anywhere to execute/select.

As far as I know, this only works on WM6 devices.

I honestly like this with out the color... it's more stylish. The color adds just a bit too much of a ummmm Microsoft feel to it IMO. The Grey Black White feels like a nice HTC feel and matches the phone better.

Yeah, I agree at times then I get color and it seems more eye candy. In either case, the above .cab is not color for now. I just installed it (for the 6th time?) I'll see if it fixes the Vibrate issue.

I don't use the dialer because of the bugs you mentioned. I believe they are still present in the Kaiser dialer app.
