I never did the color icons myself, but I did download them to see what they looked like. I had to use WinRAR to unzip them as Vista's built in zip utility claimed the archive was corrupt. Try using WinRAR or some other application (maybe 7-zip freeware) to extract the zip file on your PC. Once you get that done, you can simply copy and paste from your PC to your \htchome directory via activesync.

Once again Stroths YOU DA MAN! Thanks for taking the time to download it and check it. My pc was saying it was corrupt as well. I used winrar to open and no problem! Oh by the way who ever else has this problem, make sure to turn the plugin off so you can paste the Icons in the HTC folder.

Stroths or anyone else who might know. We all know that the htc.accuweather.com database is limited but what I'm also noticing now is that the weather does not update. Even if I set it to "download updates automatically", it does not update. Right now I'm looking at NYC's weather and it says its 87 degrees and sunny outside. It also says that it was last updated 3 hrs ago, go figure. Anyone know how to set the update schedule like Weatherpanel does?

I really do not get how to "add" your city.. And when I copied the new version of that file, now nothing appears in the city area..

Providing your formatting is correct and your city listings are in alphabetical order, that is normal. You have to do a soft reset before they will display.

I don't know how to change its update schedule. I do know that you can manually refresh it by clicking the wording in the right corner stating how long its been since it updated (i.e. 3 hours ago).

Stroths,
Yes sir I do update it, but I was just wondering if it would automatically update like it said it would... oh well maybe in the next version of this, they'll fix it. Also does anyone know how to remove the weather tab altogether? It looks nice and I do appreciate the big moon and big sun in the evening and during the day but I think weatherpanel is better at what it does. I don't want to lose the functionality of the rest of the Kaiser interface but I also dont want to be redundant and take up valuable screen real estate for no reason.

Btw, am I the only one who has this problem of the weather not updating itself?

If you set it to update automatically that only means that if more than 1 1/2hr or so has passed and you hit the weather tab to check it, that it THEN updates automatically. It's not going to just do it auto behind the scenes because you may go a week without checking the tab. Not all carriers offer unlimited data and/or allow their phones to be connected to data 24/7.

I actually have mine unchecked so it doesn't update automatically. I got tired of accidentally hitting the weather tab with my big fingers and my phone starting a data session to update the damn thing.

nope. People are reporting low memory to begin with (around low 20's to high tens) but not an instant drop while using. Which is the problem that occurred the day i installed the Kaiser plug in.
and i don't have slide2unlock installed.

The only thing that changed since going at a constant 22-19mb to nor a 22-15mb is the Kaiser mod.

...another thing. not sure what thread this was mentioned in but this new plugin does count the number of missed calls whereas the older version did not. i had two missed calls and the bottom right phone icon showed "2". im using the color icons if that makes a difference.
