Did your weather stop updating recently? Here's the Fix.
If you are using an older version of N2A's patched HTC Home Plugin then your weather stopped updating recently. You need a new version from the thread linked below.
Another option that worked for me was to delete the registry key below and then soft reset. The key below is created by older versions of N2A's modded HTC Home Plug to redirect weather to his server rather than accuweather's. If your city is not already in htc.accuweather.cm then you must download a new version.
My weather just quit updating about a week ago and I didnt know what to do. After reading many post I decided your quick solution to just delete the above line as you suggested from the registry. I had never touched the registry before this (I even had to research how to get to the registry using Total Commander) because I was just afraid I would mess up something. Since this was a find a file and then delete it (sounded simple to me), I decided to try it.
It worked!!! I reset my Sprint Mogul device. Choose my city from the default cities in HTC Home Customizer and it finally updated. Thanks a bunch for the help. Now maybe I'll get the boldness to fix my sound problem finding the audiopara.csv file people have told me about. Maybe I'm getting a new boldness.
great product - but I have a problem...
Even when I go into the registry and add th 6th number for 6 tabs, and renumber them in a different order... I cannot get the photo-quicklaunch tab.
It will only show me the other 5 tabs.

Is this because I am on a verizon 6800?
If you are using the newest version of the HTC Home Plugin, you change the tab settings at Start->Settings->Today->HTC Home Tab
However, there is not a photo quicklaunch tab. The 6 tabs are:
1. Home
2. Favorite People
3. Weather
4. Launcher
5. Music
6. Profile

Is anyone still getting the notification issues with these plugins? I had notification issues with the 6 tab plugin and just lastnight I installed the 5 tab and today received a few texts without notification. A soft reset fixes this but sooner or later it starts up again.
How do I do this? I click add, it opens my contacts, i select a contract with multiple phone numbers and it just selects one automatically for me. How do I get an option to select a number?

Once you have a contact assigned to a button/space, press and hold on that contact and then you can choose the number you want to dial. However, you will need to do this each time.

I think the weather is on a 2 hour timer. It updates every 2 hours.

ooh is that what it does? i have journal bar on the screen so i rarely ever look at the htc's version (but the htc version sure is purty!). whenever i tap on it, i see it showing "updating..." but i think i mainly see that after i do a soft reset so of course it would have to update once you tap it after a reset.
anyway, its no bother for me to have it update as it only takes a few seconds..

I am hoping someone can help me. I have updated my HTC plugin and I would like to create a CAB from it so I can easily re-install it after a hard reset. Can anyone let me know what I need to do so that the cab can restore my Today settings and re-install my plugin?
