I have my phone set to turn off the screen after 1 minute. Last night I was using the Live Search map and it was hooked up to my GPS mouse. The GPS locator on the screen was moving along the maps as I was driving and it would beep when the next turn would come up. Everything else would be fine but the screen keeps turning off every 1 min. The only way around it is to change the setting on the phone not to turn off screen at all. I've not tested other programs but is this a bug in the phone or Live Search? I take it it's Live Search. Anyone know of a fix?

Live Search needs a setting to keep backlight on. Your workaround is the correct approach.
