I downloaded the 2.0 version works just fine on my 6800, light stopped blinking right away... However when I soft reset the light starts flashing again, I had to reinstall/overwrite and it worked again...

Anyway to keep it working after a soft reset? If not no big deal, I don't soft reset alot, and it only takes seconds to reinstall; just asking.

Great app though, I hate that flashing light... Now I can sleep and keep the phone face up at night..lol

Mine stays on after a soft reset with the 2.0 version, so I am not sure. You might try uninstalling 2.0 and install 3.1 instead.

Awesome little app, thanks

It solved 66.6 % ( ) of my problem, so now you have another user that would like to see an option of killing the bluetooth led as well

Many thanks in advance for considering this new feature.

ps. Just fyi, it works on my (Dutch ROM) HTC P3600.

I think it would be wise to leave that light flashing because blue tooth is the biggest power sapper (from what I have seen in testing) of all. It's good to know it is on to be aware of it I think..... but the new LEDKiller does work like a charm.

Well, I always have bluetooth on. Mostly because I´m too lazy to turn it on and off every time I step into and out of my car (in which I use a bluetooth headset).

I guess I´m getting too far carried away in suggesting a small gui in which you can select which led to blink an which one to kill?

My apologies if I am

I'm glad the app has worked for you. I'm not sure when we will work on modifying the other LEDs. The app we currently use to control the service LED does not have the ability to do anything to the bluetooth LED. Cody is swamped right now with the multitude of projects he is currently working on. For now, a piece of electrical tape is your best bet

The LED Killer app makes no permanent changes, so its not the culprit. As long as the LEDoff link is not in your \Windows\Startup, LED Killer is not running.

You might try reinstalling phone suite to see if it works after uninstalling LED Killer.

That's the message it gives when its running, but something else is trying to take over control of the LED. HERMLED, for example, does the same thing if you try to run the 2 at the same time. Apparently, Phone Suite is not compatible with LED Killer. If you want to use Phone Suite, you will need ti discontinue use of LED Killer.

If you are running the latest version (3.1), just make sure its removed from startup and it won't startup after a soft reset. Since it does not make any registry or other changes, it won't have any further effect at that point. Any issues you see after doing that will be a result of something other than the LED Killer.

Didnt work...I removed phone suite and led killer and same things occur....its funny, because i had both them installed at one time working perfectly, but i wanted to give phone alarm a shot...they both played nice, i removed phone alarm, put phone suite back on, and thats when i got the problems.....if theres a way you can walk me through or give details how to fix it in the registry that would be great...i just dont want there to be a hard reset in my future, cause as with most of us, i need the vibrate function more than any other.....

I am not sure how to walk you though fixing the registry as LED Killer doesn't add or change any entries. Basically, it is a stand alone app that doesn't really have any settings or registry entries. Once uninstalled there's nothing to do, but a soft reset. If any registry entries were added or changed, they would have been done by one of the other apps you installed.

You may want to talk to the authors of those other apps to see what they would suggest regarding your registry. I would also suggest you invest in a good backup software like SBP Bankup. I make a backup before installing any new software, so I can restore my device if the software causes any issues. It's a HUGE time saver.

Do you know if your 3.1 will play nicely with PPC-6800 Hacks - 1.05
By: Blade2032. Of course, I'd leave his blinking light tweak untouched so they blink like normal. Plus, his is a registry tweak where yours is an application that runs all the time.

Any ideas on this combo?

If all his does is change registry settings then I don't see any reason they wouldn't play nicely together.

Does it still allow the LEDs to blink for notifications or does it kill everything?
