From what I have read, the Sprint version should work fine with Verizon as well with the default settings. The only thing that won't work is the built in MMS the threaded SMS app has because it doesn't work on CDMA networks.

Im getting a 6800 on monday, and was wondering if this app is for the most part bug free. I have a Treo 650 right now and abosolutely frkn love the threaded text conversations. I want to use this app, but it seems that its difficult to cope with even if you want to get rid of it. A little reasurance would be good. Thanks.

Depends on who you ask. I have been using it from the beginning when hannip at TreoCentral ripped it from the 750. Once I moved to a 6800 I put it on it as well and its worked very well for me.
Some have issues and some do not (like me). The WM6 version is a simple cab install that should work well for you.

Why can I not get to this new messaging prg. by pressing the messaging button at the top left of my 6800? I used to be able to press it, and arrow left or right, and cycle through my e-mail accounts, and text messaging.
It has also changed the bottom left button on my today screen from contacts, to SMS. This really sucks. I use my contacts list way more then SMS. How do I get that back? Their is no reason for this SMS button, as the program also added a line for text messages on my today screen............
I found it, It was a change in my Spb menu. It looks like it made the changes, I have it fixed so I have my contacts as the left button again.
I still can't get to text messaging from the messaging button. What gives?
pocket CM contacts has threaded sms built in. and works pretty nicely without affecting your device. check it out. Got a screen shot for ya. From my understanding it just references your messages you already have , but you can manipulate them in pocket cm contacts.
disregard the broken convo in the screen shot the beige was her texts to me... the blue were mine to her , I cleared all the actual text convos and this was the only one I had on my device. Not a very coherent convo but you get the idea.

Yes I have been using this and I like it a lot, but I found a bug w/ the Favorites section which I posted about here:

I get the message: Message could not be sent. Your account is not provisioned for multimedia messaging. Please contact your wireless operator. (0xe1) service Denied!
Ok, so I searched the threads, and unless I am really missing something, this is a new and legitimate question.
My buddy has the iphone, and the ONE thing I like about it is when you get a text message from someone, it comes up with the last few messages that have been sent between each other, sort of like a log. This would come in handy to me expecially when it takes half a day to get a response from someone, because sometimes I can't even figure out what they are responding to?
Any ideas about how to do this on the mogul?
Just want to say thanks for the help on this thread in answering the logistical questions and getting the program going. I used it for the first time last night and was pretty impressed.
One note about the installation: I use SPB Mobile Shell, and after installing the threaded SMS cab SMS replaced contacts as my left soft key (which you can change, but I actually don't mind). It also messed things up in the today screen in terms of the item list, but this is also easily corrected.
