convergent, the site just tells me my line cant be upgraded over the web.... which is why im calling.... was trying since last night...
ok. he tells me they are having issues with the phone and getting it ordered for people... there is a trouble ticket started on their end to determine why the phone is still not showing up in the system... ok im going to eat pancakes and bacon and ill call after that,,,, :p
I had problems ordering online this morning too. It said it couldn't process my online upgrage. I think its because I am on a 3rd party employee plan. Then when I called telesales the 1st time, she couldn't find the phone. Then a second call said she couldn't place the order and then she would call me back. She called back within 5 minutes and placed the order and was able to bill it to my account and ship it to my job. Too good to be true. I know them charging it to my account it going to kill my spending limit ($75) on an employee account, and then it will probably ship to my house. I have an order # so I will check it later and see what happens.
I said I was going to wait on this phone and make them swap me out in the store for my 6700 but I am not taking any chances. They are getting me a brand new 6700 today, so I will swap that, and when I get the 6800 I will have a LIKE NEW 6700 to sell on ebay.
Well, nevermind. I just got off the phone and they told me the spending limit was removed from my account over a year ago. Now I remember that I got a letter from Sprint saying that.
I hope mine ships out today and I get it tomorrow.
I tired ordering through retentions and they couldn't order it. The rep then offered to see if she could conference in telesales and order it that way but telesales couldn't order it either. The retentions reps said she had no idea when her department would be able to order it and the telesales rep said she expected it to be in their system sometime today or tomorrow for ordering. I just need retentions or telesales to have it available for order so that I can take advantage of the retention deal I was offered, website does me no good.
i just called again for a 4th time and got the SAME person who i just called last!! lol that has NEVER happened to me EVER! he recognized my right away (heck i just called there about 30 minutes ago). he said not to worry that he has my name and will call me for sure. he says they have them in the warehouse but they are not in the systems still... i dont know how you guys are getting these people as quickly as you are. ive been trying since 830AM EDT today.....
Call again, dude! The first lady I got could barely speak Engrish and the next time I called (2nd) I got a chick that spoke the language and before I gave her any info, I asked if she had and was able to sell me the 6800 or not. She said yes, so I continued with the flurry of questions and finally got an order number. I'll have to check on the math tho, cause I am sure she said it was $649.00 with the phone, shipping and fees, but that still leaves some 80-90 unaccounted for, maybe tax? I didn't really pay attention to that, I just wanted the phone! LOL.

she might have tacked on a data plan or something... i would call and verify..
maybe the timing is the key here. maybe its last in the day and people are staring to wake up, check these forums and rush to call... the guy who has me on his list says his next door neighbor had 20 already on HIS list....
I just spoke with a lady there to confirm my order and it is. I'm paying full price tho and she said if you wanted the same, she could do it. Tell them to make sure they scroll on the phone list all the way to the bottom, as the phone is almost last on the list. I'm getting a $75.00 rebate later, not on the order today, so if you don't mind paying full price, its going to make it easier. Also, there is TAX on that $549.00, which is why mine came out to $649.00.

I called back just to verify that they had my correct address on file for shipping and OF COURSE THEY DIDN'T. They are shipping it to my house and I won't be there tomorrow!! I am on hold for ODER SUPPORT now and I was transferred to them to see if they can change the address on the order. Man I can't believe Sprint has outsourced all this stuff to overseas! I knew it was a matter of time, but I wouldn't trust my orders for outsourcing, customer service I understand...but thats a whole different story.
just placed my order online with tax and overnight shipping came out to $622.76 [i had $75 upgrade rebate available but I didn't want to tack on another 2 yrs].
