Wont wake up when the keyoard is opened....

So Ive had the telus version for about a week now and im annoyed by it actually. I just came off a moto q that i was so tempted to throw against the wall so many times. but it served its purpose... needed something smaller than the beast of a 6700 that i was carrying.

so anyways off to my question... its asleep in my case(by the way the antenna on the 6700 had a purpose...ease of removal from my hip case...pull up and out...not like this one) i use to be able to wake it up by just sliding the keyboard up. not on this one. i have to press the power button to do so. which sucks because its on the side, which is hell to find in the dark since some times you cant tell what side your on because its placed at about the same hight as the OK and speech buttons on the other side

so if any one knows of a reg tweak or hack for this let me know or if any one has questions about it go ahead

thanks

Oh god, you have to push power to wake it? What are we gonna do?! For some reason, my 6700 doesn't wake either when I open it...but I really don't mind having to hit a button to wake my phone, I can usually hit power and slide the keyboard out in one quick motion. I have a feeling you'll get used to it.

Does it make any difference if you disable "lock all buttons but power"? Maybe the keyboard switch is mapped as a button--just a theory though. I wish Verizon would get moving on this thing so I can try it out. I won't miss the antenna much myself, as I never liked carrying my 6700 in a case anyway, too clumsy and looks too geeky...especially on days when I'm wearing my Donkey Kong t-shirt....
