Telus device face vs VZW

Is it really likely that the face of the device (frame, buttons, Dpad) would be different between the Telus, Sprint and VZW versions of the 6800?

The photos of the VZW 6800 show a boxier look with a square Dpad and different hangup and answer buttons.

I am liking the Teleus unit's looks moreso than the released VZW pics.

the 6700 was the same across the board, except for the color of the front bezel.

Anything is possible, but I would imagine any changes would be cosmetic (color, coating, etc.) vs functionality (buttons, etc..)

The sprint version looks like the telus version. Pics:

Keep in mind that that is not a release version of the Sprint 6800. Way back in the day when I got my hands on one of the first 6700s from Sprint, it was a test model too. Look at the pics and you can see how much things can change before release.

Here are some of the pictures of the proposed Verizon Wireless XV6800

I hope this isn't what it looks like. The current pics of the Telus unit are much nicer looking.

96MB RAM? Nah...
What's BBAC?

I'd bet it'll look like Telus/Sprint Prototype--the unit in the first photo has an outdated Wizard layout.
