That's a great comparison shot of the 6700 and 6800. I can't believe it, but it looks like it's only as thick as the bottom half of the 6700. Pretty impressive.
ok, why the heck is the stylus coming from the bottom... I can tell many many styluses are going to be lost. Immagin if your stylus is just slightly loose and you answer the phone (assuming you arn't using your BT) and the stylus falls out every time. That would kinda suck... I say this becase I had one stylus where I had to bend it a bit so it wouldn't fall out when my 6600 was just on it's side and I was walking around....

I am more concerned about the card slot being on the bottom. Seems the card could pop right out and you may never even notice its missing until its too late.
What are the headset options? In particular, am I going to be able to skate with just a 2.5-> 3.5 adapter from PPCTechs, or will I have to break down and get an A2DP adapter for use in my car?

OK , HERE it is the grand daddy of all questions, with heavy use. and that is the reasoning behind having a phone like this , does the battery simply. last all day or not?
ps. I do like that it is thinner, but!!!!!! I would have rather seem the same size phone as the 6700, with the 2400 stand battery. if they made it the same size as the 6700 the battery would have lasted a great deal of heavy use and no problems whats so ever with heavy use.
my question is unbelivably important to me . HOW IS THE BATERY?!!!
Well, if you are ok with being as thick as the 6700, you shouldnt mind an ext battery right? It made the 6700 a beast, but perhaps it'll be ok on this thing.
1. With regards to the stylus location do you feel the overall design is better or worse than the 6700 (this is comming from the guy that has lost upwards of a dozen stylus' thus far on his 6700).
2. How is the speaker phone sound? I'm not a fan of the 6700 speaker phone, ringer volume, or vibration strength.
3. Do you know if there is a max storage size for the miniSD? Will it take a 4GB card?
This is great news, but I'm a little disappointed in some of the shortcomings in design, like the stubby stylus and the microSD rather than miniSD, both of which are stupidly mounted where they could easily fall out. Also, is that the reset switch directly beneath the microSD? Looks like a whole lot of confusion down there, and the USB port looks to be yet another proprietary jack. Why they couldn't stick with the standard 5-pin mini usb plug is beyond me.
What exactly are the specs on the processor? Could you possibly post a benchmark for it? Thanks!
To answer some questions and clear confusion, a regular mini usb has 5 pins on the top. This is an 11 pin mini usb. It adds 6 pins on the bottom. A regular mini usb plug will still work, and use the 5 pins on the top to charge and sync. The other 6 on the bottom are for the mic and stereo sound. To charge/sync and use a headset at the same time requires a y cable such as this one. More adapters can be found here: http://www.mobileplanet.com/a.aspx?i...ables&count=22

Ah, I'm glad I won't have to replace all my miniUSB cables! Thanks for clearing this up.
