I ordered yesterday, but it did not ship yet, it says order processing.

But when I ordered it said it would ship in 1 to 2 days.

I hope it goes out tommorow so I can play with it all weekend.

I ordered mine Friday evening and still no word on whether it's shipped or not. The website order tracking continues to say it's awaiting fulfillment and I've called them a few times. I called yesterday and was told that it would ship out that day (Tuesday). If that's true, I should be getting it today since it's overnight shipping but I'm not holding my breath since the website is saying it's still awaiting fulfillment. I'm hoping it just doesn't update very fast because I'm ready to get it!

People looking into the XV-6800 are being remarkable quiet. First they said mid-July, then September. But nobody is really saying anything. AT&T and Sprint are doing a remarkable job of canabalizing from VZW and VZW seems to not care. Amazing! I think I will be dropping them very soon.

I haven't even received my phone and I'm already starting to get frustrated with their customer service! I'm still in the same boat (order is awaiting fulfillment). I called again today and I was first told that it hasn't shipped yet but then after I expressed my frustrations with ordering it on Friday and it still not shipping, she magically found a tracking number and said UPS has received it. Not surprisingly though, UPS has not record of the tracking number existing and it doesn't even follow the UPS tracking number guidelines. I'm starting to understand why Sprint has a bad rap when it comes to customer service and I'm hoping I don't have to deal with them too much once I get my phone and service. It sure is going to be nice to save $30 to $40 a month over Verizon though!

Better be careful. Sprint is cancelling people who call too many times. Before they know it, they will not have customers left. LOL

I've heard about this and I'm not going to lie...it's crossed my mind. I wonder if anyone's ever been cancelled before activating service?!?! LOL!

If they would get their crap together and send out orders in a reasonable amount of time, I wouldn't be calling. I don't think it's unreasonable of me to expect the phone to be shipped out within 1-2 business days...especially since they've already charged my card!

From the reports I heard on the news, only a couple of people sounded unreasonable. The rest sounded frustrated with Sprint trying to do as little as possible to get by.

about that, yes they will drop you if you call. they claim those who were dropped called 30-40 times a month. Now, i've had my service for 5 days, and have called about 40 times. BUT, since they had no idea who i was half the time, I suppose i'm safe. SPRINT is god awful with their phone service. I was told my delivery was overnight fed-ex, 1-2 day fed-ex. 1-3 day fed-ex, 1-3 day UPS, 3-5 day ups... you see why i have to call alot!!!

THIS IS ON TOPIC because it is a warning for those tired of waiting... I'm not saying don't come to sprint, but just be prepared for their bull****. And make sure you know exactly what you're getting if you do decide to leave verizon. My bill is $500 overcharged right now and contrary to what you've heard in THIS thread, texts are not included in the SERO plan. it's $10 more for unlimited texts, even though you have unlimited data included...

I must admit, I left Verizon with a measure of trepidation. I had very little problems with them, and great coverage. Frankly, I was a happy camper- I just didn't want to wait, and the pricing was so good for the Sprint one. I hope I don't regret.

Just out of curiosity but how did they actually ship it and how long did it take from the day your ordered for you to receive your phone?

Thinking iPhone

My new every 2 date has come and gone and I have no interest in anything verizon is selling right now. The problem is that I have an Axim x51v and damn Dell (HTC made the x51v too I think) to HELL for not making a converged device based on that lovely screen and those lovely specs. (VGA, 624NMhz, 2 memory card slots, 256 internal, battery sucks tho...to be expected with all that). So now I find myself unwilling to compromise on screen size. The enV would be cool but the screen is unworthy. The TV one (I don't know the model) is ok I suppose but I want QWERTY. The Mogul would've suited my purposes (big screen and QWERTY keyboard) but I'd still be sacrificing screen quality and memory and whatever else.

Problem with iPhone is iTunes...I've been doing Yahoo Unlimited so all my music is WMA. Mostly subscription so I won't lose that much. Can I covert the WMAs I bought to MP3s? The iPhone plays MP3s right? I've been so anti-ipod for so long I don't even know. I guess I'd miss A2DP but I'm sure apple will update that.....its all about the screen man....all about the screen.....and I'd still have my Axim for business purposes...

And from reading the threads on here....the Mogul isn't living up to what it should...

If you are used to using the VZW network, you would not like the iPhone. It only uses EDGE - which should be spelled - S-L-O-W

Ordered mine on the ninth too, and my status just changed from "your order is in progress" to "your order is awaiting fulfillment). I actually called yesterday to check, and they mentioned that there was a big problem with sales right now that they didn't understand. The system was slow, things (like the Mogul) weren't showing up where they were supposed too, etc. I'm frustrated with how long it's taken to get here, but all the CSR I've spoken with have been very nice and did what they could to help.

That said, I'm still going to keep my VZW line until Sprint has convinced me to keep them. And maybe by then they'll have gotten their act together and released a dadgum PDA phone.

Smile Sprint has the 6800 in stock

I just ordered it direct from Sprint and they claim that I'll have it in 1 or 2 days. I had to pay $399 with a 2 year contract renewal. I have to add that it took some doing for the rep to "find it".
