Does anyone know when this phone hits the stores.. I was told that I could exchange my 700wx at the store when it gets there.. I took my 6700 to a repair store back in april then 2 weeks later when i tried to get rid of the treo they told me to wait till the Mogul came out .. after two days of bitching to reps they finally told me they noted my account to recieve one when it hits the stores..
I thought we were going to keep this thread for release information and not for friggin braggin cuz ur friggin phone has arrived and I'm friggin hate'n cuz I'm friggin stuck with friggin-slow-to-release-the-same-friggin-phone Verizon and I *sniffle* am *sniffle* sick *sniffle* and tired of read'n u sprint folks disappointed cuz *sniffle* ur frigg'n phone is at home and u can't get there.
P.S. Yes this is my first post here...i've been lurking for awhile...why not make the first one a rant? Great site and forums...btw

I don't understand why Verizon is ALWAYS the LAST to release a phone! It's been that way forever! I'll continue to wait for the 6800 (as if I had a choice) but it almost makes me want to change carriers to Sprint!

Well the Verizon guys are going to get the last laugh... they will get the 6800 AND the i760 in a few weeks... and when they start using the 6800, they'll already have a lot of problems figured out for them by the Sprint guys... so it all works out. Yes, CONCRETE info. I want something written in stone. I need to implement Verizon's "Worry Free Guarantee" but can't until I know the TITAN will be released within 30 days of my 6700 purchase.

At least our XV6800 will have MMS out of the box. Sprint released their 6700 with no MMS, and now it's the same with the 6800. It's like they rush these things out just to beat Verizon, but I'd personally rather have a fully functional device arrive at my doorstep.

Good luck with that. The only CONCRETE info you will ever get is when they release the device, until then, it's all rumor. Assuming you're not a biz customer, I would feel somewhat comfortable ordering the 6700 when the 6800 is released b2b, but at that point you're only about 14 days away.
Question - have you Sprint guys had any luck getting 3rd party MMS/SMS programs to work?
I am still waiting on VZW but loosing patience... my 2 yr contract is up an the Sprint rep I spoke with at Telesales agreed to match all my VZW incentives. Add that to VZW redic. data plan fees and I am soooo close to pulling the trigger. Not to mention the Mogul looks much better than the spy shots of the xv6800.
For all the other VZW people... The CSRs around here know nothing about the xv6800 and the lady I talked to at corporate said it was not listed on her coming soon sheet which they usually get 2wks ahead of launch.

To be honest! I say POST THE PICTURES AND THE REVIEWS!! I have a folder with 4 links, 2 pdfs, and 94 pictures of HTCs 6800. I have no problem adding to that collection. Also post the problems and the mods! We have nothing better to read because Sprint retail is announced and Verizon won't say anything till the day after anyway . . . What else do we have to read?!?
