I've been playing with a proto for the past few days & just ordered mine online. It's a nice device for certain, but if you've had the 6700, the form factor takes a little getting use to.
I'm having an hard time registering for that mysprint thing to register my phone even with the account number...... There site is so stupid.... I guess ill have to wait and call to orders.....
This puts a damper on my plans to purchase early When I go through support regarding the phone upgrade, and enter my phone number and zip code, it says I'm eligible for the upgrade. But when I try to go through the website to buy the phone, and select the "Upgrade" button, where it asks for phone number and password, it says I'm not, and therefore won't let me buy the phone unless I do it by adding a new line of service. Guess I'll have to wait till they open at 7am :/
well I ordered mine through online-sales last night, only to have woke up around 4:30 am to find out through mysprint that the order was cancelled.will have to wait until 7 to call in.
I called Telesales, they said I had to call Sales Support at 8am because I'm exchanging my Treo 755P for it (still inside 30 day return window). I can't wait to finally have this thing ordered!
any word on the Verizon release date? I need to get a phone today but want the 6800. If I know it's released within 30 days from now, I can securely buy anything knowing that I can trade it in. What's verizon's deal on this one.....
It seems I'll have to wait until next week to order the phone if I want the rebate. I'm technically not due for the $150 rebate for a while but a CSR applied a code that would allow for this if I placed the order over the phone or bought the phone from a store. The problem is the CSRs in retention cannot order the phone for me until around the 25th of June (if I still want the rebate). Telesales can order the phone for me now but without the rebate.
At this point I'll just wait until next week and try again. Hopefully the phone will still be in stock.

Does anyone know if the Sprint stores actually have them or are they only available through the website or phone sales? I was thinking of heading to a Sprint store today if they are actually available at them.

Agreed. That was awkward.
I haven't heard anyone else mention issues with call volume, speakerphone, etc. except on CNET. Is this is an isolated issue or did I miss other complaints about these problems.
