You can have it shipped overnight. I called 877-483-3010 and she fixed
it for FED-EX overnight.

Having a new 6800 in my hands by end of week...PRICELESS!

I'm pretty sure you get the ADD by having an unlimited data plan.
Hey importmonkey,
Did you call to get this price, or did it ring-up with the stacked discounts online from your account?
Don't forget the $50 MIR

two of the discounts came up when i selected the phone for an upgrade. i'm pretty sure they were the internet deal and new every two. when i went further the add came up.

i didn't think i'd get the mir since i got it online and got the $100 off. i won't complain if i get it though!

too late...already received my shipment notification

no worries though...i've waited this long, i can wait a few more days.

plus, it shipped with fedex 2day service which should get here friday. fedex overnight rarely comes "overnight" for me. it also gives me some time to buy other goodies!

Man... I was just reminded how far above and beyond the customer service at Verizon is over Sprint or AT&T.

I just called the Telesales department and ordered my phone.

$499 Phone price
-$100 NE2 (Pushed it through early for me)
-$100 ADD

+$97.49 Sandisk 8gb MicroSD (with 25% corporate discount)
+$55.61 Tax

=$452.10 Charged today

-$50 MIR

- $402.10 total

He actually processed the order as consumer for the phone so that I would get the discounts, and corporate for the mem card so that I would get 25% off on that.

The rep was nice enough to push the overnight shipping through as well and he even put an appointment on his calendar to check the order number in 2 hours to get the tracking number and email it to me.

Just ordered mine. Came to $211.99 including online $100 discount, NE2 $100 discount, ADD $100 discount and $12 tax.

I'm guessing I don't qualify for the $50 mail in rebate now? The wording seems to be a bit vague on that.

Now that Verizon has finally released it and I have ordered it, I'm sure HTC will announce its CDMA successor next week!

Just ordered mine online. Be warned though--what the fine print don't tell you is that the tax is based on FULL RETAIL ($619!!!) adding more than $50 to that nice little 199 pricetag.

So what took so long, VZW? I think the next PDA phone I buy will be from a different provider thanks to VZ's new equipment policies.

LoL, sadly true.
Although with thier "Any Apps, Any Device" the next time around it may not matter.

Thanks for all the ordering info everyone, I will probably give it a shot tonight.

Good luck with that. The new policy announcements state that all devices must be approved by VZW before being allowed on the network...now, what was it again that delayed the xv6800? And how much faster do you think approvals will be when there are many more potential devices, and no potential VZW revenue from the approvals?

Maybe (lol) Verizon is realizing they are loosing market because they are not keeping up on some devices (or money on research/testing). If they have the best network and if the phones don't matter. . . Then why would anyone go anywhere else? Just a thought.

I don't think they force the data plan but I think half of the rebates only apply if you have the data plan (IE either more for the phone or more for the service).
