Even at a better price the i760 is a better device IMHO. You can get the i760 for $250 on a 2 year plan.

A better device ? 1/2 the Rom, No USB , NO REV A compatability.

I really tried to convince myself to get an i760, but I can't.
The i760 has less rom, no chance of Rev A upgrade, fewer camera pixels, the keypad on the front just makes it large, no scroll wheel, 4GB external flash limit, and the keyboard has fewer key/functions. I get the feeling it is already a 2 year old device.
Where as the 6800 is only already a 1 year old device.

Wow - I'm currently due for my new every 2 at this point and have been waiting for the 6800 to come out to replace my 6700 (which works well for me now). I must say that if those prices are correct then I will NOT be changing up to the 6800 since it's over-priced for a Pocket PC that's been out for a while now.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It should be easy enough to get the price down to Sprint's price. That's why wireless companies have retention departments.

My NE2 comes in December and I've been considering the i760. After rebates I can get the i760 for $80 vs. $300-$400 for the 6800... I LOVE my 6700, but I may be willing to pass up the extra memory and revA for a while.

So it's slower, I'll cope -- I'll take the money I save on the phone AND the data plan and buy a coffee while I wait. This phone was the main reason I hadn't left Verizon already, given the monthly bills I've been getting.
They really don't get it.

GPS, Video Conference, two cameras, 3 mps camera, auto focus, Tilt feature, and more memory. All it takes is a little research.

A damn shame the i760 doesn't have RevA possibility and more memory...samsung would pull some bank away from HTC no doubt.
And why the hell did they change the way it opens for the keyboard? It sounds completely trivial, but that alone makes me reluctant to buy it.
Who wants to make a PDAPHONEHOME-PHONE? =)

Kevin ... this forum is for discussion of the PPC6800/XV6800/Mogul, not the TytnII/8925/Tilt ....
The 6800 does not have GPS, Video Conf., 2 cameras, let alone a 3mpx camera ... no TILT.
Your research is a little off ... wrong phone.
