So i have a 6800 and the screen its broken(it lights up but stays blank) and the earspeaker is broken. ive been getting alot of calls and text messages and i want to know of a program that i can use to maybe see the messages and call logs. i have a passowrd on my phone too so i cant install anything it. its very important that i see these messages.

my replacement is coming in today but i want to see my messages from my old phone. thank you

there is a program, mobile me? or some such.. that lets you see the devices screen on your computer. you can also navigate around the device thru this program as well.

yeah i downloaded that program but it wont connecto for some reason. mybe bacause i have a password?

if you use Async, it should ask if you want it to remember your password... thats how it does for me but i use an exchange server and maybe its only for my policies in place... but its possible thats what the issue is.

can you soft reset the phone and when the password screen comes up can you use the slide out keyboard to entter the pasword even though you cant see it on screen?

the program i am using is called " My Mobiler"...

well i cant type in my password.

it only does it when i try to sync it on my comp upstairs(it runs on windows xp)

when i try to sync it to my laptop(vista) it lyncs but my contacts dont update and my mobiler wont conect to the laptop

my mobiler wont connect to the computer because i cant enter my password

can you disable Async and ONLY run my mobiler?

how do i get mobiler ot work without activesync? i dont know how to use the IP way too do it either.

yeah i was gonna suggest the IP way. i have not used it either.

as far as the password screen.. well if your keyboard works then i dont see how you cant enter your password.. just restart the device and wait a couple minutes then enter your password. i can do that without looking at the screen and it works. im just now clear on why you cant just enter the password thru the keyboard?

you dont have to connect the phone up to Async to enter your password. im sure you know that , im just making sure we are on the same page.

but still, you should be able to enter the password even though you cant see the screen. unless your keyboard does not work... dont mean to keep beating a dead horse but i dont see any reason you cant enter your password, save the fact that your keyboard is damaged...
