Problem with bluetooth stereo headset skipping- need help with original setting

I'm using a bluetooth stereo headset and I keep having a problem with it dropping while listening to music or video. What I mean by "dropping" is that the sound will stop for about 1-2 seconds then comes back on, a few minutes later it will do it again. I do not have this problem using a wired headset.

I did make the change in the registry as listed in the 6800 tips and tricks thread and I'm wondering if that might be causing this problem. I would appreciate it if someone would be able to tell me what the settings were. I have the registry settings at 50 but I can't remember if the originals were 30.

Thanks for your help

Nevermind - I made a couple of adjustments and now I'm not getting any "drop offs". A side bonus is that I'm not experiencing any hiss that I was able to hear previously on the headset.

What did you do (in case anyone else has this issue)?

I set the last two registry tweaks back to 35 instead of leaving them at 50. It was rather interesting since at 50 there was a lot of hiss and numerous drop-offs. Setting the registry tweaks to 40 cleared up the hiss and most of the drop offs (still a few but spaced wider apart meaning I could listen to 5-6 songs before a drop off would occur). When I set them at 35 I only got 1 drop off after playing 10-11 songs.

I'm wondering if it's some sort of clipping or attenuation at the higher rates.
