I just noticed the xv6800 was removed from verizon's web site. Odd thing is that the Samsung SCH-i760 was put back up and listed as "out of stock". I guess they were (are?) trying to get rid of old stock of the i760.

I just bought my XV6800 last Friday. I asked the sales rep in the Verizon store why it wasn't listed on there anymore. He said that there have been talks for the last few months of the 6800 being discontinued and replaced by the 6850. After a new contract signup I only paid $80 for the phone, so it was obvious they were close to finish selling them.

Actually trying to decide right now if I want to upgrade or not....$300 more is pretty steep but at least I wouldn't be stuck with an outdated model for the next 2yrs :/ Wish they gave me more time than 30 days to decide
