Well i just got back from the sprint store and they were like they had done test and the spot does not effect the quality of the phone. Also my EVDO turns to 1X when in EVDO zones and they did a hard reset were they erased the number and all from the phone and reprogrammed it. They said to use it for a while then come back if i have the same issues. Guess i should call Asurion.

I want to switch to the iPhone but i hate AT&T's service.
I can confirm the Touch Pro is out of stock - I'm waiting on a replacement for my NIB one that has the rainbow spot that presages digitizer collapse; and was told despite it being DOA out of the box I would have to settle for a refurb because there have no new ones.

Have you tried Sprint Self Service Solutions? Looks like the trade-up option can change there frequently. At one time I checked it, the Mogul was being traded for the Mogul. The next day, it offered the Touch Pro as a replacement. Eventually, I went through Assurion, but my original issue was not related to the screen (even though I had the burn-in spot as well).
Called both Sprint and Asurion - denied doubly. Even when I told Sprint I was so unhappy I was ready to switch carriers. They said, basically, sorry - we can only replace your device with the same model under the insurance plan.

Now i'm debating how long i want to wait to do this with my 6700. I have 2 lines. One has the Mogul which i just replaced. The other has a 6700. Hmmmm.l
i called asurion today, told rep that i had a problem with my phone and with no questions he said "good news, we don't have any moguls in stock so you will be upgraded to a brand new HTC Touch pro within one or two buisness days".
