Retrieving Certificates

Hey all,

Searched for this but did not find exactly what I needed, so here goes.

The company I work for has wireless in the building. Trying to get my device to connect to the wireless, however, they say that you need to be able to connect to the network (physically via a cable) to retrieve the certificate from the server so that you can then connect wirelessly.

Well, as we know, the Mogul cannot. Is there a way to manually add the certificate since typing in the appropriate login information and server information into the Enroll tab, does not work?

Export the certificate from your computer as a pfx, copy the cert to the device and install it.

You can import PFX Certs into WinMo phones? I thought I had problems with this...I've always used X509 DER certs when importing.

Additionally, a normal end user cannot export a cert to PFX. This needs to be done directly from the web server.

EDIT: Just tried adding a PFX and it did work...so I guess if you have access to export to a PFX, have at it.

This must be new with WinMo 6/6.1...I think with 5, I couldn't do this, but I could be wrong!
