I have a Yahoo email address, and send mail using smtp.sprintpcs. My sent mail is saved in sent items, just like on a computer. But with the dropping of Sprint's email approaching, I set up my account again using the "automatically get settings" feature (called something like that). Mail comes and goes fine, but my sent items aren't saved on my Mogul, even though the box is checked to save a copy. However, a copy is saved on Yahoo mail online, in a folder called "Sent Items" which is different than the usual "Sent" box, which is where items are saved when sent from a computer logged into Yahoo mail.

but did you delete the account ad set it up again, using instead to manually set up the account?

do you have any other accounts on the phone? do they work fine?

I set it up again, leaving the old one that uses the Sprint server to send. I named the new one "Yahoo Test". I notice it sets it up as IMAP instead of POP. I have the old setup set as POP. So apparently it works with either, for receiving email. On my wifes, also a Mogul with a different Yahoo email, I set it automatically and it suffers the same problem (not saving a copy of sent mail). I never really cared though, because she doesn't use it, but I use mine all the time, and with the up-coming Sprint deactivation of email, I thought I'd better get this solved early
