I've searched the forums here and haven't seen anything on this combination, so my apologies if this has been covered elsewhere ....
I think the
Mogul is sensational and can act as a highly portable laptop -- with one exception: lengthy text entry.
Today I pulled out the old
PalmOne infra-red universal keyboard I used with my Axim X30, downloaded the WinMobile 5 driver for the Treo 700 from the
Palm site, and set up the
Mogul as shown in the pic. It worked immediately, and -- as far as I can tell -- flawlessly.
I'm not nuts about Bluetooth devices, and this infra-red setup works as soon as I pop the
Mogul in the cradle. The keyboard works for a long time on one tiny AAA battery ....
The great thing is that I can keep the
Mogul connected to a charging source, as show. If I use the complicated cables that came with the
Mogul (as opposed to the adapter I bought to enable headphones and charging at the same time, which blocks the infra-red sensor

), I can even listen to music as I type my great American novel.
Not sure if these infra-red keyboards can still be found new, but I'm sure E-bay can oblige ....
