Are you serious? You want to enter a voice tag for each of your 200 contacts? I would much rather have voice recognition s/w like my cheap old Verizon clamshell did. I can think of an adjective to describe voice tags that ends in "ck", but it isn't rock .........

There is another teensy weensy problem. Activesynch has the unfortunate characteristic of crashing hard every week or so. It then resets all the contacts on your phone with the ones on your PC. Good news is you never lose a contact, bad news with me this takes 15 minutes for 3000 contacts and when it does this it wipes out the voice tags of the contacts on the phone. I verified this after my last crash... was a mystery for me for a while.

Maybe you can put the voice tag into windows/outlook. But this is a pain so I have to rerecord a few tags whenever it happens.

I have not used voice recognition software to keep the burden on the machine down... it is slow enough, cannot be overclocked and the memory is modest.

Besides all this, I think this is an excellent PDA. But with a smaller screen and slower Processor than my old 6600.

MS Voice Command has been pretty flawless for me. I have it set to just dial right away as well because it understands my voice so well. I don't need it to confirm for me.

Well I had to start from scratch adding my contacts; I started playing
with the phone. Experimenting since I didn't have as many contacts as you
I entered mine manually. Then I just started playing with the phone. I like the way I can actually personalize the sound of my voice to my machine. When u have the voice box sound u have to get it just right. But the phone responds well to the inflections your own voice. Thats what I like. For the power user it may not be great; but for the middle of the road user it works just great for me. All I can say is I love it. But then again time will tell

Outlook 2003 has no options for adding voice tags.... probably 2007 does.... part of my MS upgrade conspiracy.
