I think this is what you are looking for, might want to check out PimBackup...it is freeware...alot of people use it...it is a program that you can download to the storage card....and the backup file can also be stored there. It does contacts/history and some other simple things...the thing is that the contacts are not a folder it is a file called pim.vol located in the root dir....you can just copy that if you like.
If you have a card reader...just place the card in the pc, and copy the pimbackup file or pim.vol for storage.
Another program to check out is WM5Storage which will turn your 67 to a storage device....like a USB stick and will show up as that on the pc's when connected.
