i am new to this site so go easy on me.. and i am not all to well with lingo but i will give it a shot. anyway, i am getting the ppc 6700 in a little bit. i used to have the phone when it first came out but for some reason i took it back.. my ? is, and i have searched this, is there a free version of aim for this phone or msn. bc i am using this phone as a laptop to take notes in class and it nice to talk to ppl at the same time. the threads and post i have found keep talking about paying for the program.. has any one found a simple way to just install it and have it run normally. if so please send me the link. oh and will that work on the wifi. bc i don;t want to pay for it with txt.. no point.
I googled "Aim for Pocket PC"....I used to use it long time ago...and it was "Freeware"...dont know if it will work give it a shot.
When I was reading your post....all I have to say is "Good Luck",are you really going to use the 67....if so, get extra batteries/or the 3200 or sit right by an outlet, (everybody and their mothers will be fighting for an outlet), be really fast on the keyboard if your typing....I just dont see it being a match made in heaven, you are going to drain that battery faster then blood coming out of my body with all that muti-tasking.....please just take a laptop and avoid the madness or a pen and some paper like the good ole days....I am not dogging you...so dont get mad

lol thanks, i had a laptop but the motherboard went out, so i sold it and im getting the pda insted. im sure the battery won't last long at all, but the phone i am getting comes with 2 and i think i will buy the extended one as well. im not worried about having to type to fast bc all i have to do is pull up the word file and add to it. don't worry im not getting mad, if anything i am glad to get someone elses input.
anyway.. that aim will work on the wifi network right? and ill i have to do is download it on to the phone and just fallow the simple install steps. sorry i have never installed stuff on pda's.
Yeah installation is pretty easy of any IM software that I can thing of. Getting online via WiFi seems to be an issue for some people but itis the same as XP IMO.
