Need Contacts Help
Hey Guys,
I'm trying to find a way to store my contacts by Firstname first and Lastname last (John Smith= John Smith not Smith, John).
Is there a registry hack for this?
Thanks,

For the life of me.....I can't remember how I did mine...but I want to say...I did it on the desktop I believe there is an option for the way you want to list, if I find it I will repost.
edit: From XDA:
"The App:

You double-click to install this plugin.
Then, you open your Outlook Contacts, click "File As Sorter" in the toolbar, and it will ask you how you want to sort your contacts. Click "First, Last" and voila! Now your contacts will appear the way you want on your phone."
After the sync your contacts will be in the right order.
I also forgot...when I enter a new contact on the 67, I put everything in "First Name" example: Joe Smith

Thanks for help. I'll try to see if it will work for me. The only thing that might not work is that I do not sync with Outlook.
Thanks,

Change Display Name order in Contacts
set Display name in Contacts:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\contact\cproghook]
"FL"-> Set 0 if LastName then FirstName, 1 if FirstName then LastName

Hey weed, now it was your turn for teaching me a new trick.......
thanks for the tip!
Well I guess I need to edit my reg, even though I just put every thing on the "First Name", but just in case.

Well it also works really well if you just do first name then last name and then a comma
example --> Mike Jones,
